Gucci JewelryThe Super Spectacular Carnival will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, on the soccer fields at Coffman Family YMCA. The theme is superhero and is sponsored by Coffman YMCA and Southwest Church in Springboro. The carnival will have games, inflatables, pony rides, a pumpkin patch, crafts, live entertainment and a bonfire. Photographs can be taken with favorite superheroes. The carnival is free, though you are encouraged to bring a canned good to donate to the Springboro/ Franklin food pantries. The Great American Shoe Drive is being conducted now through Oct. 5. Shoes of all kinds and in any condition are needed.
embroidered patches Donations can be dropped off to any school business or church that has barrels marked "Great American Shoe Drive," or at Kings Pointe near South Lebanon Elementary in Maineville. The drive is sponsored by Open Arms Caring and Sharing Ministries of Maineville/ South Lebanon. All shoes will be sent to countries in need.
