The event will be held on Saturday June 10 at The Village Hotel and Leisure Centre, Henry Boot Way, Priory Park in Hull, from 10am to 4pm.

Members of the Breast Friends group have raised thousands of pounds to hold the special day, which they are planning to make an annual event.

They are also raising money towards the treatment and welfare of breast cancer patients at the Princess Royal and Castle Hill hospitals.

There are
embroidered patches still some free places on June 10 for breast cancer sufferers, who can contact the group for further details.

"When you have breast cancer you lose your hair and you can lose your nails, and obviously surgery can change your body shape as well," said treasurer June Smith. "The Pink Pamper Day is all about forgetting that and having a day to celebrate and enjoy being a woman."
